A substantial American Brilliant Period cut glass water pitcher featuring an elaborate combination of hobstar, star, crosscutting, and fan motifs.
The pitcher has a step-cut spout, triple-notched handle, and a deeply cut hobstar base. Its heavy crystal blank and detailed cutting give it the brilliance and presence associated with fine American cut glass from the Brilliant Period.
A possible Libbey attribution has been suggested, but the maker has not been confirmed.
