A beautifully detailed 6-inch American Brilliant Period cut crystal bowl with an unusually dense combination of geometric cutting.
The design features hobstar-style medallions, deep polished miters, fan cuts, cross-cut diamond work, and a scalloped rim, all arranged in a balanced four-part pattern. The low, shallow form shows off the cutting exceptionally well and gives the piece strong sparkle and prismatic reflection in the light.
Its smaller 6-inch size makes it especially versatile for display as a collector bowl, candy dish, trinket dish, or decorative accent while still showing the craftsmanship associated with early American cut glass.
Very good antique condition with a small nicks/chip. No cracks or other significant damage observed. Any minor surface wear is consistent with age and use.
