The cobalt crystal has been extensively cut back to clear, creating dramatic contrast throughout both the shade and the column. The large domed crystal shade is decorated with intricate flowers, leaves, starbursts and sweeping cut motifs, finished with a finely cut scalloped edge. When illuminated, the light shines through the clear cutting against the rich cobalt background and brings the entire design to life.
