Thomas Kinkade “A Quiet Evening” – Limited Edition Artist Proof Canvas
A highly collectible Thomas Kinkade limited-edition canvas, A Quiet Evening, from Lightpost Publishing. This example is identified on the reverse as:
544/790 AP • 20” x 24” • Charter • 1998
The AP designation identifies this as an Artist Proof edition, a smaller edition reserved separately from the standard numbered edition.
This piece is especially desirable because the original Thomas Kinkade materials explain that these canvas editions were created using a detailed reproduction process and were hand-highlighted with oil paint, adding texture and dimension to the image. This explains the areas of the artwork that appear painted rather than simply printed.
